AccuLynx’s 2022 Recap: Top New Features, Integrations and Updates

Over the last year, we made many incredible improvements to AccuLynx, from adding new integrations to helping enhance your interactions with homeowners. Here are the top 6 new features, integrations, and updates from 2022 that will help you improve your business:

Customer portal

Feature #1: Customer Portal

In 2022, we launched our brand new Customer Portal—a secure, self-service website designed to give roofing contractors an easier way to share project information. This customizable, interactive portal provides customers with 24/7 access to all their job information, so you can increase job visibility and communication.

Contractors use AccuLynx’s Customer Portal to deliver a personalized customer experience, while their customers love it because they can:

  • Follow their projects from start to finish
  • Make payments and apply for financing online
  • Get questions answered without having to make a phone call
  • View project details, documents, photos, estimates, and invoices in a single location

The Customer Portal also saves contractors time by automatically updating as changes are made in AccuLynx. So you can keep customers informed throughout the entire job without adding more work to your plate.

Beacon integration

Feature #2: Integration with Beacon Building Products

While Acculynx already integrated with both SRS Distribution and ABC Supply, we were thrilled to announce our integration with one of the largest material distributors in both US and Canada, Beacon Building Products. Ordering materials through this AccuLynx integration provides you with a faster and easier way to estimate jobs and get the products you need. With this integration, you can:

  • See a real-time catalog of available products with your specific account pricing, right in AccuLynx
  • Submit material orders with just a few clicks
  • Get real-time order updates delivered to your AccuLynx job file

Having a digital ordering system in place will give you much more visibility into your material orders, save time, and decrease your chance of errors. The new Beacon integration also seamlessly connects with other tools in AccuLynx, like the estimating templates and production calendar, so not only are you ordering materials more easily, but you’re also managing every aspect of the production process more smoothly.

Feature #3: GAF aerial measurement integration

In 2022 we teamed up with GAF QuickMeasure to help make it more efficient for roofing contractors to order their aerial measurements and build estimates. GAF delivers roofing measurement reports to your AccuLynx account in under 1 hour (for single-family homes) and under 24 hours (for commercial properties). With this integration, you can now order QuickMeasure reports in AccuLynx, saving you time and improving accuracy while eliminating the need to upload or manually enter data into AccuLynx.

Email Template Builder

Feature #4: Updated email templates

AccuLynx’s new Email Template Builder provides roofing contractors with a simplified way to create custom-branded, professional emails from scratch. Instead of recreating all your emails, you can create templates out of commonly used emails to reuse time and time again. This helps you speed up the communication process and brings more efficiency and standardization to your emails.

With a simple, drag-and-drop editor, it’s easy to:

  • Customize your email templates
  • Pre-write commonly sent emails
  • Send emails right from the relevant job file
  • Manage all your templates in one place

You can also select a “starter” layout, which are pre-built emails containing editable elements, to save even more time from having to create your own.

Feature #5: New financial worksheets

The new AccuLynx Financial Worksheet is the “financial center” for all your jobs. With this feature, you can easily manage your job finances, customize your billing schedules, and see real-time profitability right from your AccuLynx Job File. Here are a few ways our improved financial worksheets can help you better run your business:

  • Financing and invoicing worksheets – Build out contracts and invoices, manage your job finances, and show real-time profitability right from your AccuLynx job file.
  • Invoice statutes – Give a clear picture of what is going on with each step of the invoice process so you are never wondering what has and hasn’t been paid.

Mobile Crew app

Feature #6: Updated Crew App

AccuLynx’s mobile Crew App is a simple roofing app that connects your office with your subcontractors and crews, allowing you to easily manage your teams and keep track of your projects without having to visit the job site. Here are some updates we made to the Crew App in 2022 that help you stay even more connected with your crews:

  • You can now see labor orders while using the crew app
  • Big improvements were made to the camera and scanner
  • Can assign multiple crews to jobs through the app
  • New tools to help manage job information and labor sign-offs
