About AccuLynx’s connection with Hatch

AccuLynx’s connection with the Hatch messaging platform makes roofing business communication easier than ever. It allows Hatch to use your AccuLynx data to automatically send personalized messages via text, email, and phone.

The Hatch connection is available to AccuLynx customers through the AppConnections add-on and can be set up with just a few clicks—no coding necessary!

How the connection works

Frequently asked questions

Yes, you must enable the AppConnections add-on in order to connect Hatch to your AccuLynx account. To enable AppConnections:

  1. Log in to your AccuLynx account.
  2. From the main menu, select the Market dropdown, and click “Add-Ons.”
  3. Select “AppConnections by AccuLynx” and click “enable.”

Once AppConnections has been enabled, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Hatch connection and click, “create an API key.”
  2. Name your API key–for example, “Hatch Campaign.”
  3. Log in to your Hatch account, go to “Settings” and follow the steps to successfully activate the API key. Once you have completed the steps in Hatch, your connection will be enabled.

The connection updates every 15 minutes, so you always have the most up-to-date contact criteria for your messaging campaigns in Hatch.

The name you give your API key will be used to identify campaign replies in your AccuLynx job messages.

Yes, you can respond to Hatch messages in AccuLynx. This communication will be stored in the AccuLynx messages tab.
