AccuLynx and Geospan^® integration

To enable Geospan, navigate to your AccuLynx Account Settings, and select “Add-On Features and Integrations” from the side bar menu. From here, you can select “Geospan” and click the “Enable” button. Only Admins will be able to enable Geospan for your account.

Once Geospan is enabled for your account, Admins will be prompted to select the appropriate roles—Managers, Office, and Sales—in the integration settings. After these roles are assigned, anyone in your organization with one of the selected roles will be able to place Geospan orders.

No, you do not need an Geospan account in order to place measurement orders.

Each month, you’ll see a detailed breakdown of the number of Geospan measurements ordered and the associated charges in the Billing History section of your Account Settings. This will provide a clear record of your charges.

There are two types of measurements available for order through AccuLynx:

1. The gProXpress is typically processed in under 3 hours, and provides a 95% accuracy rate. It offers reduced measurement data of the 3D model, making it a more streamlined and cost-effective option for quick assessments.
2. The gPro is processed in under 6 hours and offers 99% accuracy. It includes a detailed 3D model of the property and additional measurement data, providing a more comprehensive option for thorough assessments.

To order a Geospan measurement, click the “Order Geospan” link from the Dashboard or your job file in AccuLynx.

Next, fill out the order form by selecting the measurement type (gPro or xPress). Add any specific instructions, specify which structures to include, and indicate if multiple buildings need to be covered. When ready, click “Order” to submit.

Once the order is placed, the measurement document will appear on the Measurement Page, marked as “Ordered.” When the measurements are delivered, the status will change to “Completed,” the PDF will be added to the job’s Documents section, and you’ll receive a notification.

You can track your Geospan measurement document orders from the Measurement Providers tracking page in AccuLynx. This page includes all measurement reports ordered through your account. Each order will appear in one of three statuses: Requested, Ordered, or Completed.

Additionally, a measurement report is available in AccuLynx to help reconcile measurement orders with specific jobs. This report shows the measurement ID linked to the job where it was ordered. It’s designed to make it easier to track and reconcile the cost of measurements with individual jobs.
