Simplify the measurement process with AccuLynx + RoofScope

AccuLynx’s integration with RoofScope, a leading exterior measurement solution for contractors, automatically creates measurement report requests in RoofScope as jobs move forward in AccuLynx. Once you order a measurement report, the completed results and documents are automatically added to AccuLynx—no downloading or uploading files between systems. This pre-configured integration is available exclusively with the AppConnections add-on, no coding required!

Frequently asked questions

Yes, you must enable the AppConnections add-on to connect RoofScope with your AccuLynx account. Please note: You must also have an active RoofScope Growth or Advantage account, or prepay a balance with a Level 1 or Level 2 deposit, to use this integration.

To enable AppConnections for your account, go to the Add-Ons section in the AccuLynx Market, find the AppConnections listing, and click “Enable.”

Once you have enabled the AppConnections add-on for your AccuLynx account, you can activate the RoofScope integration as long as you have an active RoofScope account. The RoofScope integration listing can be found in the AccuLynx Market under the AppConnections tab. Follow the prompts in the listing to authorize the connection. Once the connection is authorized, you can customize the milestones that trigger RoofScope measurement requests.

A RoofScope order will be created when your AccuLynx job reaches your specified milestone. AccuLynx Elite accounts also have the option to create a custom Status within a milestone. For example, an Elite account could create a Status inside the “Prospect” milestone called “Order RoofScope.” Within RoofScope, someone must then access and submit the measurement order.

By default, the standard RoofScope report will be ordered. The RoofScope report compiles all essential roof measurements and materials into a two-page report that includes total squares, roof edgings and folds, roof planes and their characteristics, a color-coded and dimensioned roof drawing, and aerial imagery of the structure. Additional reports may be added to the shopping cart before submitting the order.

After your RoofScope order is complete, measurements and documents will appear in your AccuLynx job as they’re ready. Items may come in one at a time, but you’ll see them in AccuLynx as soon as they’re finished in RoofScope.

Within the individual AccuLynx job, your RoofScope measurement reports will be placed in the “AppConnections” job folder as soon as they are ready.
